Two Seasons Hotel goes pink with Al Jalila Foundation to fight Breast Cancer
Since 2014, every October, Two Seasons Hotel is continuously engaged in Breast Cancer Awareness campaign and this year is not an exception. On the occasion of Pink October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Two Seasons Hotel & Apartments Dubai commits itself to the fight and collaborate with Al Jalila Foundation to increase awareness of the disease and raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure.
Al Jalila Foundation, a global organisation dedicated to transforming lives, was founded by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai in April 2013, to position Dubai and the UAE at the forefront of medical innovation.
Al Jalila Foundation supports medical treatment for individuals unable to afford quality healthcare; provides scholarships to nurture a home-grown generation of medical professionals; and funds ground-breaking research that addresses health challenges prevalent in the region: cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, obesity and mental health.
Hotels’ guests are invited to participate in Breast Cancer Campaign to support and to be part of this campaign while staying at the property. A ‘Pink Day’ fundraising campaign in association with Al Jalila Foundation was held on 17th October, pink cupcakes were made and sold to guests through Le Grand Café in the lobby and to employees of the property as well.
The lobby of the hotel was decorated with pink signage, pink flowers and more. In addition to the campaign’s presence in Two Seasons public areas, all employees did adopt pink components within their uniforms to show their support to the cause.
