• The guests are requested to save the water by following a few best practices of the hotel
• Place the Bed Linen card when the linen needs replacement. This will save a huge quantity of water
• Place the Towels card for replacing the towels. These save water and in turn also energy consumption also
• The Guest are requested not to waste the water by reducing the number of flushes while using the restroom
• To run your washing machine when it is only full, you save maximum consumption of water
• Avoid wasting water by keeping the tap open for a very long interval

• Switch off the lights and air conditioner when not in use
• Set the room temperature of the air conditioner at 23 Celsius

Best Waste Saving Practices of Guest Rooms

• Waste bins are placed with two bins one in the bedroom and the other one in the bathroom in order to segregate the waste
• Recycle waste of the rooms for cans, bottles, cardboard, and plastics
• Two separate bags are used to collect general waste and the cans and plastic bottles from all the guest rooms to increase the recycle waste and measure for proper segregation
• Replacing linen only when the guest placed the conserve card on the bed which reduces the electricity water chemical, energy, and other waste
• Installation of LED lamps in all the guest rooms
• Encouraging guest to use 300ml shampoo and hand wash gel instead of small amenities to save packaging waste

RAS AL KHOR WILDLIFE SACTUARY

Ras Al Khor is a wetland reserve which attracts migratory birds in large numbers, in particular a large flamingo colony. The total area covers 6.2 sq km and is surrounded by an additional buffer zone, the Sanctuary has about 266 species of fauna, and 47 of flora. Its varied ecosystems support diverse plants, insects, reptiles, birds, and mammals. However, the majestic flamingos against a backdrop of dark mangroves are Ras Al Khor's most visible and attractive feature, about 1,000 of them drawing quite an interest from residents and tourists alike through the year. Migrants join resident flamingos during winter, when 2,300 have been counted."

DUBAI DESERT CONSERVATION RESERVE

It’s a 225 square kilometre natural reserve and UAE’s first natural park and largest protected wild life. Contrary to the popular belief, the desert is teeming with life of all shapes and sizes. Home of the endangered  species of fauna and flora, over 33 mammals and reptiles species indigenous to the Arabian Peninsula and has a wide variety of both resident and migratory bird species including Barbary falcon, lappett-face vultures and even migratory cuckoo, Arabian red fox, Arabian oryx, Leptin's spiny-tailed lizard, camels and lesser jerboa (rat).

MUSHRIF NATIONAL PARK

Set up in 124 hectares, it is a large protected park with indigenous ghaf wood land. It is located in Al Khawaneej road, 5 km east of the Dubai airport, within easy reach of downtown Dubai. The site is already protected as a recreation park that open every day from 08:00-22:30. There had been 102 species excluding escapes has been recorded as of March 2015 and the star attraction is without a doubt the resident pairs of pallid scops owl near the mosque. Species seen regularly are: crested honey buzzard, greater spotted eagle, shikra, western marsh harrier, Eurasian sparrowhawk.

AL AHMADIYA SCHOOL IN DEIRA

Whether you are interested in the history of education or simply fond of architecture, there’s a plenty to see and learn about this place. Considered as one of the most prestigious and oldest educational institution and the first semiformal private school in Dubai founded in 1912 by Sheikh Ahmed Bin Dalmouk. It’s a two-storey building near Gold Souk. It is open Saturday to Thursday from 08:00-19:30 and Friday at 14:30 – 19:30.

Al Ain Zoo

Al Ain Zoo has been entertaining and educating animal lovers since it opened in 1968, and features a large collection of local wildlife as well as giraffes, reptiles and big cats, adding up to 184 different species.

Al Tamimi Stables

This family friendly private farm and education centre in the deserts of neighbouring Sharjah is home to a menagerie of creatures, not just the equestrian kind, and features a petting zoo as well as a whole host of other activities. There are pony rides, falcon displays, sporting facilities including basketball and badminton courts, football fields. Saturdays to Thursdays, 9am-6pm. Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo

Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo boasts the Guinness Book of Records largest acrylic panel in the world, and the biggest suspended aquarium, which visitors to Dubai Mall can view freely whilst strolling round the shops. The Underwater Zoo is on 3 levels and is home to over 140 different species of aquatic animals, plus a few creepy crawlies too. Sunday-Wednesday 10am-10pm, Thursday- Saturday 10am-12midnight. Emirates Park Zoo

Emirates Park Zoo has a colourful collection of creatures to see, as well as a family-friendly farm for kids to get interactive with all sorts of little creatures. Aiming to raise environmental issues as well as fostering an understanding of all things great and small, kids can learn whilst still having fun, plus the park has plenty of amenities. Posh Paws Animal Sanctuary and Petting Farm

Posh Paws Animal Sanctuary and Petting Farm relies on donations, animal-loving volunteers and the new entrance fee to keep the non-profit home for unwanted and abandoned animals functioning. Inhabitants include everything from porcupines to peacocks, flamingos to ferrets, with a few wallabies to watch and Shetland ponies for riding on. Open daily 8am-12pm, 3pm-6pm. The Dubai Miracle Garden

The Dubai Miracle Garden is a flower garden located in the district of Dubailand, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The garden was launched on Valentine's Day in 2013. The garden spread over 72,000 square meters making it the world's largest natural flower garden featuring over 45 million flowers planted. The Dubai Miracle Garden operate from October to April and remains closed from June to September due to high temperatures with the average of 40 °C (104 °F) where it is not conductive for flower gazing. As a guest, you do have the opportunity to contribute to making the environment a better one by simply being conscious and responsible. Therefore, we kindly ask you to minimize any energy consumption during your stay including switching off lights and air conditioner when not using. Moreover, the air conditioner should be set on an average room temperature of 23° Celsius. Preferably, all equipment connected to a plug should be switched off. Windows and doors are supposed to be closed in order to generate an efficient temperature cycle within the room. Additionally, you can contribute through reducing the numbers of flushes and being cautious about running the tap water while being in the bathroom or kitchen. Furthermore, water and energy can be used effectively by using the washing machine when it's full.

Two Seasons Hotel is a 41-level hotel with 1010 rooms compiling a total of 16 rooms that are designed for the physically challenged, this includes both available views: Sea and City View. It is one of Two Seasons Hotel's responsibilities to support barrier-free tourism by providing special accommodation opportunities. 

The rooms are designed to be accessible for guests who visit our hotel with a wheelchair or other movement support items.

An accessible toilet is a special toilet designed to accommodate people using a wheelchair. The Wheelchair-height toilet helps the user on and off the toilet with handles.

Grab bars are safety devices designed to enable a person to maintain balance, lessen fatigue while standing, hold some of their weight while maneuvering or have something to grab onto in case of a slip or fall. Grab bars increase accessibility and safety for people with mobility difficulties.

Barrier-free walk-in showers are designed to provide a safe, independent and convenient alternative to a traditional bathtub. The danger of stepping into a bathtub is eliminated, and a low threshold handicap accessible shower can be used by physically challenged people. 

Our aim is to create a full, enjoyable experience for all our guests and to provide a living atmosphere that can ease the life of people with movement challenges. 

Two Seasons Hotel puts together the Accessibility Report to guide physically challenged guests or guests with reduced mobility to move around the hotel comfortably. The report provides guidance starting from arrival at the nearest airport - Dubai International Airport until reaching the property. As guests step foot at Two Seasons Hotel, they are provided with equal opportunity to enjoy the hotel facilities, dine at food and beverage outlets, and given the same standard of service from the team.

Dubai Creek

Lined by dhows, the Creek offers a picturesque glimpse of Dubai's trading heritage. It can be crossed by 'abra' (water taxi) and tour operators offer day and night cruises.

Shindagha

Near the mouth of the Creek, Shindagha is the original site from which Dubai grew. Sheikh Saeed's house, the former home of the ruling Maktoum family, has been carefully restored here. The Heritage and Driving Villages provide a rare glimpse of Dubai's traditional culture and lifestyle.

Bastakiya

The earliest form of air-conditioning, the wind tower, which was used to cool homes in  the Gulf, can still be seen in the Bastakiya area, to the east of Al Fahidi Fort where many traditional courtyard houses can be found.

Dubai Museum

Al Fahidi Fort, built last century, was renovated in 1970 to a museum where 4,000-year-old archaeological finds and dioramas of traditional life are among the many displays. Open 8:30 - 20:30 except on Friday 14:30 - 20:30

Burj Khalifa

The Burj Khalifa skyscraper, the tallest tower in the world, proudly stands at 828 m and houses 160 floors. The observation deck on the 124th floor is open for public which provides eye-catching view of Dubai

Meydan

Completed in 2010, the Meydan Grandstand and Racecourse, builds upon the 14-year legacy established by Nad Al Sheba. The venue offers an array of unmatched first class hospitality and is home to the prestigious Dubai World Cub, the world's richest race.

Palm Jumeirah

The Palm Jumeirah is a man-made island and extends into the Persian Gulf. Increasing Dubai's shoreline by a total of 520 km. It features themed hotels, parks, villas, shoreline apartments and restaurants.

Gold Souk

Dubai boasts one of  the largest retail gold markets in the world, selling everything from ingots to intricately worked jewellery at bargain prices. The street-front stores hide alleys of smaller shops with glittering window displays.

Spice Souk

Two Seasons Hotel has been an active member of EEG (Emirates Environmental Group) and has been actively participating in their recycling programmes over the years. Two Seasons Hotel has been placed amongst the Top 10 participants in EEG's recycling.

All materials collected by EEG are recycled within the UAE by different recycling partners of EEG who have collaborated with us for over two decades. 

EEG introduced the Toner Collection Campaign in 2001 and has succeeded in collecting and sending for recycling 90,640 pcs. The tonners are collected and taken to a recycling facility in Dubai which uses German technologies to first sanitize the containers, refill it, seal it and pack it to be returned to the market. The parts and content that cannot be recycled are disposed of as per Dubai Municipality rules and regulations. Two Seasons Hotel has been part of the participants contributing toners for recycling and the toners are recycled for use or else safely disposed of.

EEG’s Glass Collection Campaign was launched in 2005 and Two Seasons Hotel has been an active participant, collecting to ensure that materials are collected and recycled to make glass as the end product. The glass is crushed in the local facility in Jebel Ali and sold to the local glass facility to incorporate it in the production of new glass to the percentages required by international markets.
